About the Role:
We are looking for a Jr. Tradeshow Specialist to work directly with the Sr. Tradeshow Specialist to assist with day-to-day tasks and ongoing projects and coordination with events and tradeshows.. You will be responsible for assisting in maintaining a clear overview of all shows that occur in a calendar year, speak with coordinators at different events to learn about tradeshows, and ensure participation in the tradeshow is as smooth as possible. The responsibilities of the role may expand into other elements with opportunities for specialization available as well.

This is a hybrid position at our office located in Cerritos, CA reporting to the Tradeshow Manager.
Essential Responsibilities:
Logistics Coordination
Assist in planning and executing trade shows, conferences, and events.
Coordinate booth setup, teardown, and shipping logistics to ensure all materials arrive on time.
Communicate with vendors, venues, and show organizers to confirm event details and requirements.
Maintain event schedules, deadlines, and checklists for smooth execution.
Ensure compliance with all local regulations and venue requirements.
Event Planning & Coordination
Act as a point of contact for vendors, exhibitors, and internal teams.
Supports planning, assists with logistics, and follows event checklists.
Assist in processing invoices and budget tracking.
Update and organize event documentation, contracts, and logistics files.
Assist in compiling post-show reports analyzing event success and engagement.
Arrange lodging for show attendees.
Staying updated with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in tradeshow management to continually enhance event effectiveness.
Marketing Support
Ensure branding materials, signage, and promotional items are ready for events.
Helps prepare marketing materials, support inventory management, and restocking efforts.
Research on uniforms, backdrops, banners, furniture, and marketing collateral as needed.
On-Site & Remote Event Support
Supports setup, lead collection, and booth operations under supervision.
Help troubleshoot any last-minute issues that arise during events.
Essential Qualifications:
Exceptional organization and prioritization skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills for vendor and team coordination
Must work well in a team and have a positive, goal-oriented attitude
Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail
Current CA Driver's License and clean DMV driving record
Willingness to travel for trade shows and events (up to 5% of schedule)
Work onsite in the office at least twice per week
Bonus Qualifications:
1+ year experience in working at tradeshows or events
Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of CRM or project management tools is a plus
Experience with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
Understanding of marketing field and the creative process
Experience with project management or working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment is beneficial
Enthusiasm for the design process and attentiveness to different projects goals
Able to lift up to 50 lb

Pay Rate Range:
$23.00 - $25.00 per hour
