About the Role:
We are looking for a Logistics Assistant Manager to support and lead key operations related to local purchasing, vendor management, inventory readiness, and cross-functional collaboration. This individual will play a vital role in ensuring supply availability and minimizing delays that impact sales and warehouse operations. Your responsibilities will include end-to-end procurement of local supplies (USBs, Result Sheets, Pallets), including vendor sourcing, cost comparisons, inventory forecasting, and purchasing logs, while collaborating with accounting, warehouse, and HQ teams on POs and vendor relationships. It also supports logistics operations by flagging delays or pricing issues, refining SOPs, and participating in quarter-end and urgent shipment planning.

This is a full-time position at our office located in Carlstadt, New Jersey, reporting to our Finance Manager.
Essential Responsibilities:
Manage procurement of local supplies including USBs, Result Sheets, and Pallets
Monitor inventory levels and forecast supply needs to avoid backorders
Track vendor quotes, evaluate options, and identify cost-saving opportunities
Build and maintain vendor relationships to ensure timely, quality delivery
Collect and update purchasing logs, shipping allocations, and performance data
Collaborate with accounting, warehouse, and HQ procurement teams on purchasing and PO management
Maintain structured cost comparison tools and update every 6 months
Support logistics initiatives by flagging potential delays, documentation gaps, or pricing issues
Assist in drafting or refining SOPs for purchasing and inventory workflows
Participate in logistics planning during quarter-end or urgent shipment periods
Essential Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in logistics, procurement, or operations
Strong organization and time management skills
Familiarity with Microsoft D365 or other ERP systems
Proficient in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, cost tracking)
Comfortable communicating with internal and external teams
Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy
Self-starter with a proactive mindset
Ability to lift up to 75lbs.
Bonus Qualifications:
College degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or similar field
Previous experience working with cost analysis or vendor performance reviews
Bilingual Korean
Exposure to shipping workflows (UPS, LTL, international preferred)

Pay Rate Range:
$70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
