About the Role:
We are looking for a Travel Repair Technician to service repairs of InBody New York products as well as perform general maintenance and troubleshoot equipment. You will be responsible for providing technical solutions regarding operational and troubleshooting aspects to our clients. You will inspect, repair, calibrate, assemble, and disassemble equipment while accurately tracking returned products and maintaining service records. You will be responsible for providing technical solutions regarding operational and troubleshooting aspects to our clients located in multiple sites across the US. We’re looking for an optimistic self-starter with strong organizational, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.  It is crucial that the candidate thrives in our entrepreneurial company culture where change is constant, growth is immense, and opportunities abound. If you enjoy hands-on technical work, solving equipment issues, and collaborating with others in a fast-paced environment, this is the perfect position for you! This is a full-time, onsite position at our warehouse located in Carlstadt, NJ reporting to the Finance Manager.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Perform in-house and on-site product service and repairs.
  • Communicate with customers as needed to schedule on-site appointments and coordinate repair-related details.
  • Track, organize, and log returned products (including consumer returns, internal equipment, and customer devices)
  • Coordinate and organize the shipping and receiving of products
  • Prepare service and repair quotations and follow up on payment collection as part of the overall service process
  • Provide maintenance which includes, but are not limited to, technical inspections, repair, and calibrations
  • Assemble and disassemble of products for service repairs
  • Prepare reports and other data for accurate information and recordkeeping
  • Work with team members and other departments regarding technical and customer service-related issues
Essential Qualifications:  
  • At least one year of experience in product support or repair, preferably in the medical device or electronics field
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent critical thinking and communication skills 
  • Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team while also remaining self-motivated and working independently
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License and passport 
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of regular work schedule 
  • Available Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm 
  • Available for occasional overtime as the job requires 
  • Ability to occasionally lift 50 lbs.  

Bonus Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of CRM or help desk/ticketing systems

Pay Rate Range:
  • $25 - $30 per hour
